Postby stonesthrowkennel » Tue Aug 09, 2011 12:07 am

MY SON AND I BOUGHT A FEMALE CAMERON PUP. SHE IS AROUND 24 WEEKS OLD AND HAS DONE REAL WELL WITH SOME DRAGS THAT WHERE OVER 600 HUNDRED YARDS .TONIGHT WE SHOWED HER 1st CAGED ANIMAL AND SHE DID SUPER EVERY THING LOOKS TO BE BETTER THAN AVERAGE. WE ARE BLACK AND TAN RUNNERS BUT JUST FIGURED WE WOULD PUT A COUPLE BLUE DOGS AND ADD SOME MUSIC. WE ARE NOT TRYING TO REVENT THE WHEEL BUT JUST WANTED TO SEE WHAT PUPS DO AT DIFF STAGES BETWEEN THE BLUE DOGS AND BLACK DOGS. WELL SO FAR ITS A DEAD HEAT AND ALL PUPS ARE RUNING TIGHT. WELL GIVE EVERY ONE A UPDATE IN A COUPLE WEEKS. THANKS STONES THROW KENNEL

The blue dog is doing really well. She has made every drag and 3 turn outs. Tracts very well has had a little promblem locating tree does figure out with a little help. Should turn out to be really good pup for this winter. Our Black and tan hounds are out of dogs named Echo hammer ace duncan tractdown hicks and smith have diff combos. Some of the stuff does well on cold tracts and some are faster then others on the jumped up game. These hounds move tract fast and tree harder. They do well on dry ground the hammer dog was from i believe new mexico. Just a pretty good mix of black dogs. They have done well on bear lion bobcat. One particular cross we made last year did super on bobcats. Have bred diff dogs for diff results and i love it when it works. THANKS

Cameron pup is above average. We have had two more turn outs and the little blue female is turning it on looking very good for a 25 weeks old . Tracts well and is starting to tree real well. Harold Perkins from Colorado bred this pup. I love seeing yound pups do well.

cameron blue tick is dead on trac still has a little more work to be done on treeing part. This pup has tremendous speed and loves to tract. One little problem is she is back tracking. Do not want to put a collar on her as of yet. This cameron hound is going to be a very good one. Harold Perkins in Colorado breed this pup. Jim Harrell in Montana has pups that also start early. I love having young dogs treeing at six months. Jims breeding program is as tight as it gets. It seems like mr perkins is also doing well. We have one from harold and one from jim both pups are doing well.
