bluetick strains?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to tell me the strains of BlueTick and their characteriscs (brief). So, I can know what is what.

Also, How did the ABG break away from Bluetick. Can any bluetick be registered as Blue Gascon if they meet standards, or do the parents have to be registered?

I would greatly appreciate it.

Pretty much all the bluetick strains out there started years ago by some old boys who like the blueticks and started the first reg. bluetick breed. I think there names where Elbert Vaughn Juluis Sebation O O Grant Ernest Lee maybe a few more guys but thats pretty much how it got started. As far as the gascon you should talk to Lion Tacker on here or the guy that owns French Creek kennels there are more gascon breeders than that. These are just some names off the top of my head. I hope this helps you out. I hope some more guys jump in and help digg in to detale a little more for you.
