Other than Gascons, which strains are considered the Old fashioned Blue? :?:

gascon is a fancy way of saying that the hound is an old fashion bluetick. they should have never picked that name, our old blue hounds are American not french. i have seen hounds that are reg gascon and do not meet there standard. getting back to your question, it would have to be minnisink john jays line they go back to vaughns breeding. they are bigger than most blueticks and have a colder nose. thats were the cameron line came from. old vaughn blood.

my bluetick is 106 bls i got him from a breeder in north carolina
