Cwhounds that's awesome, how does he hunt for you? All pups are sold and Cobalt, 007, oneguy828, Geno, and Rico will all be hunting these pups. All different hunting styles and all different game so we will have a real good gage on this cross. I talk to Dave Dean today and he said Spanky semen will no longer be for sale so this will be the last of the out crosses. As I said before I do have two more straws and Dave warns to breed this back in to soon so it will be a while before spanky gets used again. At 7 weeks old all 11 pups wooled and bayed a coon tail so its looking good. Also matt, Cody, and Darcy in Canada will be hunting these pups so I encourage all to document their own findings and experiences.

I can report on mine and a little bit on 2 others. Mine is a nice pup. Quick learner. Knows her name. House broke. Good looking. I am not worried at all about making a dog out of her. She tries loading every time I go somewhere. I haven'tput anything live in front of her but she wants to fight coon carcasses.
The other 2 sound similar. Maybe a little harder headed. Real outgoing. They want to go do stuff right now.
All 3 have nice personalities and dispositions.

I talk to Rico a couple weeks ago and he is happy with his pup and I will let him comment on his when he gets a chance. Geno's pup in Wyoming got hit early by a rattler so she never made it. As far as the 2 females I kept they are doing awesome, just standard handling training right now but they do catch on quick. Emma ( my one female ) seems to be a little calmer but like I said before these will be high test dogs and are not for the faint of heart. Cody has a male and all positive feedback from him, same with darcy's female. Cody will be sending his male to the US for the summer bear hunting and I hope Rico has some room to take my 2. Matt has 2 males and he figures they are now ready for live game so his are going to Brett Westphal at High Country Blueticks in Montana for training in Feburary. All have told me they will earn their feed but they all do seem to be a handful.
