I will keep you and Dennis posted. I am wanting to trade for a male from Dennis' Fly that he recently bred to Tank. It would be a good idea to start looking for someone that can haul the pups.

Good Deal!
I got to studing Flint as he stood in my kennel yesterday morning. The old raskal has the widest chest and best feet and legs of any seven year old hound I have ever seen. I was thinking that if a fellow is going to build a house, or bred a horse or dog, you best start with a good foundation...
By the way, he also has the biggest mouth that I have ever heard on a dog of any breed. He is louder than his dad, Clear River Diamond Jim and he had a huge horn on him.

I live in Menard, TX between San Angelo and San Antonio. It is a long way from you. I may go to the World Championship which I understand will be held in Shreveport, LA this Sept. Is anyone from your part of the world planning to attend?

Dennis
Daisy is already huge and not due until July 24th. Last year she had 13 big pups and it looks as though she will have more this time around. I am hoping that she has only 10 as that is about all she can raise. It is nice that the two females are having pups about the same time as it will make it nice when we swap pups.
Demand for these is very strong. As you know, I normally just raise pups for me and a few buddys and if any left over will sell. I have guys (I don't know) that have heard she is bred trying to send me money as deposits but I will not take it until I know what I can get raised. I just hate to tell someone that they can have a pup and not be able to deliver.
It is hot here as well, but then we are accustomed to it in July and August. Hunting conditions are really tough as it is dry and the wind is blowing. Keep me posted.
Thanks and Adios,
Gary

P.S. Lear1, you are on the list as we sure might need you to haul pups. I think that the World Championship is in Shreveport, LA this year. Perhaps we can meet there to swap pups. I will not be showing or hunting but have never been and it might be interesting to attend.

Dennis' litter should be a week older than mine which is not much...just good planning. I will want a male from Dennis and he wants a male from me. Do you want a male or a female? At this point Daisy looks as though she could have them tomorrow as she is already huge. She is not due until the 24th.
