Full brother to CH FCH GRNITECH (2009 Bluetick World Champion)'PR'Harper's Blue Buster.
If there is enough interest I will Performance Sire him.
DNA profiled.
He is UKC and AKC registered (full AKC).
I am NOT a competition hunter, I mainly big game (bear and bobcat) hunt, I coon hunt some but not in the competition hunts. I am the breeder of this litter(s) (I mads this cross twice Onza is 8 years old) and can tell you all you want to know about the parents and siblings, his younger brother was just killed bear hunting this season (goodbye Virgil...we love you always and will see you at that bear tree in the sky) and I don't want to lose anymore of what I've got here.
Bearman and Calblu here on the board has coon hunted and bear hunted a little with this dog and his relatives.
For now I'm asking $100 per breeding, you pay shipping, I'm not sure how much the shipping will be.
I will not do fresh chilled, only frozen. If you want to come out west and breed to him that is fine also.
He was frozen with the ICSB company and had a very high count with high motility and quality. I'm not so much interested in making stud money as much as I'm interested in getting more of this blood out there for me to dip back into and see what happens with other crosses.
For live breedings a negative brucellosis test is required.
For all breedings a good female is required don't bring me crap.
I always thought his dad (Mojo) had something to offer the bluetick world but advertising a non-Nite CH from the west coast can be pretty hard, guess I should have tried harder!
A little about Onza, he is a 'houndier' looking dog (he weighs about 75 pounds). He is a VERY smart dog, he is a very kind dog, not ill tempered at all. He has an awesome personality - I think all the dogs from this litter do.
He is cold nosed, more cold nosed than what most people around here bear hunt with.
He is still a very fast dog, in his prime I never saw a dog of any breed get ahead of him (actually maybe I still haven't unless I turn him loose last).
He is a smart track dog, he can trail an iced up cat track by sight until he can smell it and then cold trails without any boohooing, goes in one direction no back and forth in the same place, he goes and finds it. Once its jumped he runs with his head up and will cut the track to get closer.
If I have a need to cold trail bear or coon he will do the same.
He is a good locater (you have to have one to consistently tree bobcats and not trees) and a good tree dog. He does tree hard and if you have to wait til' daylight the next day to go to him he will still be there.
He is bawl mouthed on track and trees with a chop and sometimes short bawl.
He is an awesome rig dog.
He is a one dog bear catching machine.
He is a good bay dog and can handle a rough bear by himself, he will pull hair when he can but he is smart enough to know when he can't get it done without getting caught.
He is a good coon dog and a good water dog, most of my coon hunting is during the day and only when I can't get in the woods for bear or cats.
I have only got to breed Onza once so far (I really only breed when I need more young dogs and like I said bluetick stud dogs are a hard commodity to sell out here) that was to a Buzz Anderson bred female. I kept a male pup, he is doing very well, treed the first bear I ever put him on (basically by himself) and has only been doing better since. Will strike off the box, start and run his own tracks, have not intentionally let him tree one (bear) by himself but theres no doubt he could. Seems to be decently cold nosed and he can run with his daddy. Coon hunting he is always busy and will strike first and trees good and accurately, he is also a good water dog. He got a good loud bawl mouth, bawl and chop on tree. Looking forward to seeing what other crosses might make with these dogs!
Sorry I am not the best 'salesman' but just try to tell it like it is, I have included videos and photos, as they say a picture is worth a thousand words.

Please put Onza or blue stud or something in the title so I can find it in the junk mail.

People sometimes wonder why the dogs are always tied up in the bear videos. Well over the years I figured out that I can catch another bear tomorrow if my dogs don't get hurt today. When a bear comes out of a tree the dogs will try and cover him, usually the bear is able to keep rolling but sometimes the fight is on. To me personally anymore I prefer to get in, tie the dogs and leave the critter an escape route that takes him away from my tie up spot. I don't care how 'bad ass' you think your dogs are, eventually they will get caught bad on a jump out.
The first two dogs in bearvideo1 are Onza's son and half sister, next dog is Onza, next dog is full sister Fiddler, next 2 are full brother Virgil and nephew Spivey last dog is Fly (Todd Ackerman/TwoToes stuff).
Bearvideo2, just Onza and his full brother Virgil, split race, other dogs caught another bear, went to them then went to find these two. A long, hot day, can't believe this big guy ran that hard and far, I'm sure he fanned his feet the rest of the day! Onza is the dog on the left that is getting more barked down.
Here's a couple more bears;
Sister Fiddler is first dog to the left on the screen, son Skedaddle is on the left, green collar, then brother Virgil is the one carefully watching my husband just in case he might have the thunderstick (Virgil's opinion was that we should probably kill everything - good thing he didn't have opposable thumbs and a drivers license). Onza is on right, tied up with red leash towards the end of the clip.
Well can't see all the dogs here but you can hear them, my video skills are not the greatest so I'm just picking the ones that won't make you sea sick
Heres a couple cats, all dogs in the first video. Onza's full sister and half sister caught the cat in the second video.
Day time coonin, its made a believer out of me!
Dogs that show in these videos are, Onza, his full brother, full sister, half sister, son, and nephew. Mother of the half sister and a neice.
The gangs all here...
Front left to back, front right to back. Mojo (onza's sire), Onza, Rage (half brother), Blue (full brother)
Onza, dam Flame and nephew (out of Buster) Spivey.
Onza in the brush...there is just about only one tree up here and thats were Mr bear is.......
