dose any one know about sabashtion or ellwanger blood

I just got a good looking dog he is ellwanger and sabashion blood he need work but he is a real nice looking hound and i have read a little about ellwanger but cant find sabashiton and would like to see pic of other hound from these two lines

Yes Sebastion goes back to Vaugh the ellwanger is from wis. Iam not sure where

Heard alot of good things about the ellwangers dogs, never personally had any experience with them.

i have a sabashtion breed dog from jerry ellwannger and hunt with a guy that has a few. all have turned out very well. lots of grit and good cold nosed hounds.

did you hunt with them in the u p or lower michigan will post some pic. on sunday or monday. i have two ellwanger breed hounds a 4 year old and a 16 week old pup.

Them dogs must be awful camera shy.

Jerry and I are hunting partners. All the dogs in the pictures are out of his breeding. First picture: Couple dogs had him bayed up till we got reinforcement in, and then he couldn't handle the heat and went up. Dressed 370lbs.
Second Picture: Tough cold trail got it jumped, walked it for quite a while, and then treed. Dressed 293lbs.
Third Picture: Short cold trail, went right to a bay. Walked him for a while, and then got him stopped again. Bayed him for two hours before we could get in; shot him on the ground in waist deep water. Not a good picture but dressed 341lbs.
Ellwanger and Sebastion dogs are bear dogs. Cold nose, fast, and they ain't afraid to pull hair. We send dogs to the vet every year. All I will hunt are buleticks.

do you guys remember a dog named bandit ten years old hell on cats that went to the Catskill mts new york if so we bought him off a guy and he said it came from Ellwangers not sure but wondering we lost the guys number and address to get his papers any help on a number would be great i know its a long shot but you never know
