Re: Lightfoots
Mine are doing are doing fairly well for 13 month old pups. They run and tree, road and load. Coon breaking has started, that has my female somewhat confused, she started treeing coons at 3 months and I let her, just couldn't help myself never had one start so young. My male hasn't treed 5 coons in his life, just does not care about them. Probably would have been culled if he was not here, on a bobcat, he sets back 10 to 15 feet and trees like he should. He will try to run a coyote if you let him, so we are working on that, it does help that they don't trash on the same thing, they tell on each other, makes my life alot easier. When they both leave together you can pretty well count on a cat. I am leaving in about hour to spend three or four days with Marion, and Hootie, should be able to put these pups under some cats. These pups are 1/2 brother and sister, to the second dog on the left in Larry's post.
