Re: Bear Path line??
I think the advice given earlier in this post would be a good place to start. With Any heavy Weems breeding as well as some of the old stuff Steve Herd has.
I owned a direct son of Bearpath Gunner I called Bearpath Hawk. This was in the 80's. This dog was a carbon Duplicate in looks to Cascade Boulder. In fact a man from Washington state who hunted with Dee Moss and owned Cascade Easy Money nearly fell over the first time I unloaded Hawk from the truck. He said that's Boulder, where did you get Boulder?
Hawk was a super good coon, and lion hound but where he really shined was on a bad bear. He was in his prime when he was stolen off a track and never recovered. I had refused to sell him not long before that and I guess that was my mistake. He was a very dark brindle and had a big ML freezbranded on his left hip. I don't recall this dog ever running trash after he was a year old.
I owned a lot of good plotts but he was the best all around.

Re: Bear Path line??
Thanks for the info Mike
Re: Bear Path line??
OK there was not really any bearpath line. Gunner was out of Steve Herds bluff creek stuff. From what I have found he was a really good one and a bright spot in the bluff creek line. If you want more info get ahold of Steve Herd and he'll tell you all about him.
