ANYBODY TRIED THE TIMBER CHOPPERS ON HOGS

I was thinking of getting a Timber Chopper and wanted to know how they worked on hogs and held up to the southern Alabama heat . Any help is appreciated

Guys I really need some help on this I dont want to waste time and money on a pup that is not goin to be what I want or need . i dont have anything to compare a good redbone to here in south Alabama or criteria to judge one by . Speed grit and nose are a factor not as cold as lion dog on the nose and will they handle bein cut and stay in the fight till I get there . please any advice is good advice thank you

I had a Timber Chopper male that I used on hogs for a while. He was super gritty, and would never leave a hog. The problem was he was too gritty and too big, I spent thousands at the vet on him. I can't believe I didn't lose him on one, but came close to it several times. Definetly tough, the ones I've been around. Don't know about Alabama heat, but handled Northern California heat well.

Man thanks alot I was told that by the breeder but I been at it too long , Not sayin he wasnt telling the truth just been burned on breeders . How was the nose , The reason I ask is I have curr dogs and need a trail dog for when we go to places where there is just a hog track here and there . Usually when we go to these places the track you find is the size of a beer can but you are several hours behind him and a curr dog just aint got the nose for that
