she looks great i am thinking about getting a red bone do they sound as good as people say they do (a high tenor voice that just rolls out of the woods?)

oh ya, they have great voices, just like that, they sound alot different than other dogs, other coonhounds just kind of bark, but redbones sing

, they have very prolonged bays and bawls, it makes it very easy to find them, i would deffinatly recomend having atleast one in the pack
redbones come both bawl mouthed and chop mouthed

Some redbones have better mouths than others. Depends on what you like to hear. Listen to the parents. Hounds are bred to have individually distinctive voices, and most do.

i have redbones and blueticks my hunting partners have walkers redbones and black&tans they all sound different i have a female redbone that if you didnt know better you would think she was a male bawling she has a deep loud bawl but my friends black&tan he has a loud beautiful bawl but you can pick any hound out from anther if you lesson to them. I can hear each of my hounds when im hunting them

ya thats true, not all breeds sound the same, just the redbones i've heard have a nice voice almost identical voice, but my female beagle socks sounds like a small child screaming and my male beagle sounds like WHOOOO THAAAA!!, every one says he's saying "whoo the F am i tracking" cause he does have a habit of running off game if its just him or a bunch of pups in training
