we have been trying to get these two bred for some time now. hopefully next heat will be successful. the male has all the great qualities of the nance lines. the female has shown that she has a nose equal to or better than the male. it might be more desire combined with a great nose,im not sure. as a team they are doing well. both are big, fast track drifters that will grub out an old, iced in,snow covered lion track.
has anyone successfully bred these lines? i am wondering what kind of hounds might come from this cross? would they be considered nance/house bred?

Re: Nance/House Bred?
I have a Walkers Saywer Boone/Walkers Chief Banjo Jenny female that was bred to Topper Again last spring. I am taking her breed back again this spring. This is one of the most promissing crosses I have had in 27 years of hunting lions in Nev.

Re: Nance/House Bred?
thanks, do you have any information on the sawyer boone dog?
Re: Nance/House Bred?
i owned some of the dogs in this pedigree at one time, aj dog, tazz, and used the nance for breeding, raised some nice hounds from this strain hard to beat if bred right, are you selling any of these pups, i like the bottom side too, i am not an expert on breeding, would like to see how the cross turns out. very nice bloodlines.

Re: Nance/House Bred?
unfortunately we have not been able to get a litter out of her. we bred the male to a littermate of that female and they turned out well, albeit not uniform. our last litter from the male gave us what we were looking for in a hound, so it is unlikely that we will do that particular breeding. instead we may do a repeat breeding with our other female. i am certianly no expert either, but i know what i want in a hound.
