Re: anyone runnin cats
I didn't start my first cur on cats until she was 3. Just let her run feral cats. I believe most dogs will chase cats unless broke. Then it is up to you and the dog to get after them. Some dogs may not ever make cat dogs. If you talk to the to guys that have been doing it a while they say very few make good cat dogs. When the snow flies walk some tracks with the dog and see what you have. I do suggest you get him treeing on squirrels or feral cats first. Bobcat hunting can be frustrating but when you get a dog that will tree them it makes it all worth while.

Not trying to deter you. Any chance you get to put him on a cat I would take it if you have any intentions of running him on them.
