Well I'm best friends with Dan,and I've spenttime hunting with Randy Oller,I've hunted both,Mentons dog are all clark bred, these dogs are a bit houndy lookin, but tend to still handle like a cur,a ton of them are very cat minded, most make hunting fun again,I've seen 3 of them make lead dog on lions within a few hunts, they can realy drive a track fast, and can drift a bad track real good,I have been hunting dogs 4 Dan 4 years,my only gripe is some got real thin hair, and I can't run cats with mine if its below 0,but I love hunting Mentons dogs, now Mcduffie dogs, these are real cur dogs,I hunted dryground lion with randy and I seen Mcduffie dogs rig cats in 85degree heat, and move a track like it was smokein,I seen dogs road like 25 miles a day aand do it day after day, these dogs cover more ground hunting than id believe posible, most are double tough, will mix it up with tough game as hard as any plott I've ever seen, these dogs have great hair and make better mountian dogs,oh boy can both these strains move a track, both have capability of being crazy cold nosed,I honestly have 1 of each rite now and I think ill catch cats this year, these 2 strains are the only strains of lep ill mess with, you can run coon or big game with both,I'm not gunna start any crap on internet so if y'all want more info you got to call me 605393 5330,depending where you live you can't go wrong with either chiose, leave mesage if I don't answer

Maybe I should have been more specific. I am looking for a cat dog (not right now) that will do what you said, handle like a cur and is cat crazy. I am going to be hunting the desert stuff so I am not concerned about the hair. Just concerned about catching me a bobcat or lion.:) Thanks for the info. Does anyone have the breeders number so that I can talk with them? Thanks in advance.
