are kemmers usually slower starters as far as tracking and treeing? i know they fire early on caged game early. thanks

They are very capable of tracking and treeing at a very young age. As long as you don't over hunt them or throw them in with older dogs right away you should be fine.

I like LCKs method on just about every thing. If you go by what he says you will give your dog the best chance to make something.
