I have seen one of my Blackmouth Curs chasing a coyote. He did not catch it. Another time one of my gyps and 2 of my buddies males bayed a coyote. One hell of a fight broke out. Coyote ended up dead my gyp got her ears chewed up pretty good. We use Curs to bay hogs. They will back up when baying but I have never had one run from anything. They tend to be real gritty. If one decides to jump on something they usually all pile on. The yellow dog is the male that was chasing coyote. The red dog is his daughter. She is the one that Bayed the coyote. My thinking would be if a Blackmouth Cur can catch a coyote he is going to jump on it.
