Hello,just signed up on the forum.I have some questions for the more experienced guys.
Earlier this year I got a Mountain cur pup,and I'm getting another real soon.I mainly got them to squirrel and coon hunt with but I've become interested in hunting them on bobcats and maybe fox too.My dogs are jukebox bred up close and have some streak,kemmer,and busher a few generations back.Do you think they have the right breeding to do the bobcat and fox deal?
My 10month old bitch is treeing squirrels and the other pup is just now weaning age,how do I go about getting them started on bobcat and fox? I've been seeing allot of gray fox,and I've seen allot of bobcat tracks,but I've never seen one.Do I look for tracks to turn the dogs loose on or free cast them to search?
