Caught a couple lions today

We got out and drove most of the night looking for tracks didnt find anything until about 7am when we ran a road that we had run about 1 am it snowed all night and there were 2 lion tracks on top of our tire tracks from 1. We drove the whole length of the road and found the freshest crossing it by itself at that place and pretty fresh, we let my Taz dog go and my buddy's hound and let them go a couple hundred yards and then I turned my pup in...

The race lasted all of about a half hour and Randy cut in to the tree from the road (I walked the track out the whole way so it took me longer to get there,) but anyway when Randy got to the tree Taz was the only dog around and soon my pup joined him then I got there and after a little while his hound came up too,the cool thing was there were 2 lions in the tree. The second one must have been the older track that we had seen earlier and they must have been together when they jumped em and and they went up the same tree... it was a pretty cool deal!! the lower one was a young Male 80 to 90 lbs. the other was a female. ended up treeing about 120 yards from the road . Both were left in the tree to run another day.

Keep huntin you'll cetch a couple in 1 tree sooner or later we've had a couple the last couple years, and once that we had three, a mom and 2 kittens that were about 40 or 50 pounds or so. Take Care
