training season?

wen can we start legaly having dogs out "training" or "excersising"?just wondering and what does it mean to be out training.is that to the tree and pulling them of or what?

The rules are changing July 1.DO NOT take anyone's word on it ,go to odfw website look for dog training rules read it yourself.KNOW WERE YOU STAND AND DO NOT BE BULLIED!Ol' Curt 541 570 2863

This is what i have heard. You can be out exercising your dogs right now. You can do drags into the woods but i believe there are specific training areas (Not sure if im right on that). You can be out hunting coyotes, badgers, rabbits, feral swine which are or may be distructive to agricultural crops, these are considered "preditory animals" and you do not need a tag for these animals, just a valid 2011 hunting license. Guys this is a huge victory for us, BIRD NESTING IS GONE! We will be tested with this and we need to be respectful to who have faught for this. Please ladies and gents police yourselves as best you can, Pursuit season is just around the corner. Now get out there and get them dogs in shape!
