Wouldn't it be better to go for one at a time. I think getting Cougar back for open hunting not a pilot program could be done. Think about the hole picture ? Cougar is doable, then we could look at the rest. A little step is easier to take then the big jump for most. After the first step the second one comes easier. Dewey

I agree as well Dewey... on a ballot measure. However the amendment to the const for the right to fish, hunt and trap I do believe is a good step to keep our current rights.

hey mike hope this works out for all of you down here too many little kids dont want to fight just turn the other cheek and hope we can just get along i wasnt raised that way so i stayed out i know it was wrong but i just cant sit there and let them tell me fish and game is my friend when they wise up i,ll get involved i know mike thats wrong but thats just me good luck if i can help please let the past go jim

Is there anything out of state hunters can do to support the effort. Can we also send in letters or with they just get dismissed ? If not let me or us know what we can do and we can sure send and email to Oregon as easy as sending one to California...

Yes there is plenty hunters from any State can do....I do not look at California, Oregon or Washington States as not being as one, any state for that matter....We all share one common denominator.....Our passion for our sport.
I'm just getting a feel for what is coming and our elected politicians are still on recess....I will be following this legislation to see when will be a good time to work on emails etc....We really can't do much until the legislature is back in session.
I have yet to hear any reasoning why this is a bad idea.....I ask any person who disagrees with this moving forward, please call and convince me this is a bad idea or you know something that I don't....
