This is a concoction my 11 year old son came up with. I had a pound of ground elk thawing out and he said he wanted to make some chili with it. Being the good dad that i am(lol), i said ok. So here is his recipe.
MOHICAN CHILI
1 lb. Ground Elk
1 Chopped Onion
3 Tablespoons Minced Garlic
2 Cans Rotel Tomatoes (Any Flavor)
3 Tablespoons Salsa
1 Can Bush's Baked Grillin Beans (Any Flavor)
1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
1 Tablespoon Chili Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Salt/Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Pepper
1/4-1/2 Cup of Semi-Sweet Toll House Morsels
His Tablespoon is a regular spoon. He used lime juice and cilantro flavored Rotel and mesquite flavored grillin beans. He through all ingredients in a crock pot, after browing the elk. I was very surprised, that it turned out so good.
Enjoy!
