I can't speak for everyone else, but I have one of the GSXSC crosses. He is not quite a year old yet and I really like him. He is definitly more track minded at this point, b :!: t that's why I bought him. I haven't had any problems geneticly or behavioral. He is probably one of the more intelligent hounds I have and he is structually sound.

I can't find the video I had seen a few years back but I am pretty sure it was a Finnish Hound. It was titled Harejakt. I found similar video but nothing with the dog jumped tight on the rabbit like I had seen before. The video was quite impressive. Thanks guys.

harejakt = rabbit hunter

This thread went a little off topic. Personally, I'd love to learn more about Brady's critters.

That seizure stuff was interesting, but could have been it's own topic.

Absolutely sickening.
The fascination of hunting cougar with hounds lies in the discovery and unravelling of a complicated trail, watching an honest hound strike out on a track that has been found and read, and finally bringing the animal to bay so that you can see it for yourself---Jerry A. Lewis

Some times its best to stand by what you have to say or keep your lips sealed in the first place. However the right thing is to always admit to your mistakes and apologize for being a fool. Failure to do so only proves that not only is your word trash so are your thoughts and opinions. And I believe that in no way can these two lines of thought and action stem from the same man unless a third very humble and apologetic public explanation be made. That clarifies and educates all those who are rightly confused by them. If the hound was as sorry as was stated why in hell would anyone claiming to be a houndsmen breed it?? If it is a good enough specimen that she warranted breeding why would you claim it was the sorriest example you'd ever seen? This is the kind of back handed behavior that hurts any group of people.

Wow. That is criminal! Someone who is on that site and knows the score should expose it.

I did...and here it is:

WARNING!!!
WARNING!!!

Ladies and gentlemen, Please allow me to introduce just a few facts here and then you can make an educated decision as to the
merits of Steve Morrow and the hounds from Saltlick kennel.

1. My name is Tim Hubbell and I am the person who is the original importer of The Grand Gascon Saintongeois hound in America.

2. The following is a direct and exact quote from one of the posts Steve Morrow made over on the BigGame Houndsmen site, concerning the dam of the above litter, that is supposed to be the self proclaimed second coming of the Bill Green hounds:

Quote:"Majestic Tree Hound wrote:
Here's some Video of mine This has been going on for about a month now..

She'l be fixed next week ..

So be leary about Breeding these things "

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o12-RS7Y3MU

Please watch the above video that he posted in his BGH post.

3. The following is a link to the entire BGH thread so you can read the part of the process, by which he drug me through the muck and mire of typical and unacceptable, hounddog pettiness:

http://www.biggamehoundsmen.com/for...=165630#p165630

4. The last words that Steve not so eloquently spoke to me were these: "I will see to it that you do not sell another dog as long as you live".

5. The nature of his actions appear to show criminal intent.

Thank you for your time...

The next biggest crime would be that he bred that fit having reject! What a joke.

FYI - Those "fits/siesures" had to be chemically/disease induced.

It sure looks like Mr. Morrow has some explaining to do.

PS Tim, you sent me perfect specimens! Thank you!

wow :?: :?: :?: some people to bad these site allow posts to be removed so new people could learn to avoid snakes like this by there past posts. I hope in the future the owners these hounds want to post some honest reviews of these hounds and leave to egos on sale pitches out.
