Couple of Bears from this Week

We got a few bears this week. Thursday we got one treed and a 9 year old boy killed it, weighed 125 dressed after it took us on a fairly nice run. Today another group ran one into where we were hunting and let us put in on it with them. That one treed for the guys 5 year old grandson to kill and it weighed around 160. Had one dog run another cross the road by herself so I put the one dog I had in the truck in with her. They crossed road again and got a few more in behind and was able to get her treed and let her go, she probably weighed between 90-110.

I dont hunt in the same group with the Wilhelms. We do run into reach other sometimes if they run a bear across the road where we are hunting or vice versa. The guys who ran the bear yesterday that was killed by the 5 year old, the Wilhelms and them hunt together though. It was really nice getting them in to kill their first. The 9 year old boy as been wanting to try for a couple years just wasnt able to get him to in the right area till Thursday. The 9 year old boy carried his gun for a couple miles earlier that morning.

gotcha, we hunt over in Allegheny. Its always nice when the young ones make it to the tree
