New Mexico Bear Hunting

Can anybody tell me what part of the state of New Mexico is the best bear hunting?

Go for Cuba right behind town in los pinos lots of big bears came out of there last year thats where alot of outfitters that have killed some of the state records hunt. Gallina, Coyote,fenton lake all good Cuba based areas. Lots of out of state rigg trucks so you can fit right in. Mule man mentioned ole red so why not cordova lots of big bear on the borrego mesa and good camp grounds. Truchas is right up the road and just past town headed for ojo sarco is load up with bear. Watch out over in that neck of the woods some of the best people you will ever meet mixed in with some of the worst. Dogs can just up and vanish if you know what I mean. Well I should stop now before someone tries to put a hit out on me. GOOD LUCK!

thank you macadonia mule man its always nice to see you always thinking good of ol red and jesse my boys. Weve had our share of dogs disapearing including the area box rocker mentioned, i hope box rocker is giving good advise and is not the person vanishing these dogs and nocking someone else for dogs missing in the areas he mentioned. The person asking about where a good place hunting NM was asking in a good way but box rocker maybe you should let him know where you hunt since it seems like no dogs go missing there. Me (the Jackle) Ol red jesse and our hunting buddies hunt all over the state of NM and other parts of the country we always run the risk of someone putting thier hands on our dogs or someone elses. Thats just the chance you take anywhere you go not juse here. Call me sometime mule man

Dang, sure sounds like the jackel is starting to show some teeth. Didn't want to step on any feet. Just point him in the right direction of some bear and I did. The only time I hunted up in Cordova was in the company of Raw Hide. Like I said some of the best people you will ever meet. Ya, dogs get ripped off everywere. No use making assumptions and pointing fingers just because we are talking about your back yard. Didn't mean to piss in your Cheerios. Anyone in Cuba pissed.
