Just wondering if any fellow houndsmen are gonna be down there the 17th -21st. Me and a couple a guys are headed down there, hope to meet some good people and hounds. I will be in a gold cummins with Enchantment Landscaping down the side, and a bunch of young dogs. Feel free to say hello, and good luck to all the new mexico houndsmen :D

Yes sir me and some buddies are gona hit it up and hope for the best im new to bear hunting will be around the mountain somewhere will be in a black older chevy or a white cummings good luck were from carlsbad

how did your hunt go did you get a bear or any good races. We didnt do very well think we had one tree sat but it had rained dont know if they couldnt locate him or what but they showed treed for about 20 min befor they started up the canyon on fire again seen the tree there was broken branches and hair on the tree dont know what happend think he jumped

we didnt have much luck, the dogs started a couple good races, but the rain would wash all the track away. we thought we would try ruidoso on sunday but wasted the whole day fightin the mud bout got the truck stuck twice real bad. all in all had a good time but no bear trees. just have to get out and try again.

we had bout the same luck that sunday we went to the capitans started a good race so we thought bout the dogs got quit after bout and hour we had better luck the 30 and 31 had two good races think they were bear the were tracks were the dogs took off but nothing in the tree first one went bout 5 miles the next one went bout 3 but the dogs stoped and worked some oke brush for bout a nother hour and half and nothing but me and my boy had a blast so it was good
