Canadian Black Bear Hunt to air Sunday

This Sunday evening the Canadian Production for Skinner Creek Hunts will air on T.V.
This was the hunt filmed in June of 2011 for Versus T.V. Now NBC Sports....
The Best and Worst of Tred Barta Harvest a trophy Black bear with Doug McMann of Skinner Creek Hunts in Tatlayoko Lake B.C. Canada over the hounds....
Tred is a t-4 paraplegic and this hunt was done from the seat of the Action Trackchair with a long bow....
Hunting season is slowing down, this is a good time to kick back and watch BGH'S Own Chilcotin Hillbilly as he guides Tred to a trophy of a lifetime in the Canadian Wilderness....Check out the scenery!

West Coast air time.....7:30 pm on NBC Sports channel- Oregon dish is ch.603
East Coast air time..... 10:30 pm on NBC Sports channel

Whoops.....They kind of messed up on the schedule....What an honor to be a part of the coolest hunting a guy can possibly think of....Hunting folks with disabilities....Wait for the Barta Bear and the Wounded Warriors in action bear hunts coming soon....These are not your every day hunting shows....That goes out the window with McMann....

Doug is in Moose camp and this will not air in Canada.We both have the bear hunt dvd, this was the first preview of the lynx hunt...Lets hear what you all think of this style production...Behind the scene it is difficult to hunt folks with disabilities but as you can see, very much a doable proposition with enough help...The road system is very limited....You can get in trouble real fast if you are not properly prepared. Especially in the dead of winter....

Very well done. I realy enjoyed it.I tried for several years to help my disabled father in law kill an elk. He finaly got it done on a day I wasnt there. He passed away less than a year ago.This brought back alot of memorys. Thanks for sharing it. Look forward to the bear hunt.

You know it is pretty easy to give back when you hunt as we have for the many years....Not until I had two serious spinal column issues did this register.....The Bear videos are both very cool. The one that will always stand out is our Army veteran Pat C. His story is touching. Back in 2009 he took an IED in his military armored vehicle, blew him some 90 feet. He lost the use of both legs and his hopes and dreams to ever be able to hunt were shattered....

Doug at Skinner Creek hosted the Wounded Warriors in Action Hunt last June and Nosler's Magnum T.V. Filmed this hunt and will air in December or January.No hounds on this hunt. spot and stalk from the Action Trackchair as was the bear hunt with Tred Barta, Tred harvest his over the hounds and advocates for our hound hunting rights....

Hunting in B.C. is about as remote as you will find any place, limited road access. With the help of the Action Trackchair and products recently invented makes these type of hunts possible. Catching bear and cougar is something we have done for many decades...Throw a monkey wrench in the mix like no legs and you lessen the odds big time....I will keep you posted on the schedule....

Larry, next time we meet,I need the story line behind the pistol. I suspect there was a bear that bit the pistol grips in a western style duel prior to the ban.
