LBD, Thank you for that and i would also like to thank Brent for taking the time to help out on this. The men and woman in idaho should look at this really good and start taking all the wolves they can. Thanks again

They now have one in northern california. Shasta county. The heart of hound hunting country. hopefully wild justice airs the episode when someone finally puts the crosshairs where they should b. Show the state of californias dfg that the people will not tolerate the wolves. Stop it before its to late..

I am a houndsmen and a trapper. I assure you i would kill every wolf i could for the rest of my life if those were my dogs.

As for whats legal and whats not. Well i will be judged some day for everything i do. I dont mind bending the rules to avange a old friend hound or not!

Kill every one you can boys! You need a couple extre rounds just let me know.

It's a sad to lose dogs like that. I used to be good at snaring wolves and coyotes in British Columbia, but the snare doesn't discriminate. If you want to kill wolves, build a tree stands about twenty feet above ground and over a moose gut pile or a dead cow. If you camp up there for a week or so at night, you will get a close shot at a wolf, two if you are fast. It works, but you need to invest the time. Use a scope with a wide aperture to get all the available light. In BC, we had a five wolf limit, but it doesn't matter, the pack will be the same size the next year. If the pack has eight or ten members, you can kill four and it will be the same size the next winter. They will have a litter of pups, but what happens to the extras? I suspect down in the states, they are starting new packs with the extra pups. In BC the packs were established and I think they killed the excess, because there never seem to be new packs. They will revisit the old kill sites in about a week, always. This can help you set up an ambush

Walking around in the bush and hoping to see a wolf is about a once a year affair, and often it is from a long distance away.

I have enjoyed listening to them mourn the death of a pack member many times during the nights in the far North, while sitting in a trap cabin and having a sip of rye. I always enjoyed the free music. They sure get sentimental when they lose one of their own.

Good hunting, Skook
