(Three of the Plotts scheduled to compete yesterday were believed to be too stressed to make it into the ring.) Well now that they have them on the carpet in westminster, it wont be long till they fatten them up and dumb them down till they'll be just as great of huntin dogs as the irish setters and cocker spaniels

How long would a person have to live,to hunt with enough bear bred dogs from every breed to know what is best. There are good bear dogs in every breed, and there is junk in all breeds. There are good breeders, and dumbass breeders in every breed.Larry please dont bring Danny into this, the last time i talked to him,he threatend to kill me with his bearhands.

From UKC:
Of the seven breeds of UKC registered Coonhounds, the Plott Hound and the American Leopard Hound do not trace their ancestry to the foxhound. And, of those seven breeds, we can be most certain of the Plott’s heritage and the men most responsible for its development.

Now thats some funny shit right there but since UKC said it, I guess I better take it and run with it. HAHA!

Well Dan, since you have all the answeres about the Plott Breed. Why don't you share some of your wisdom on this Foxhound theory of yours. To be honest with you, I can't wait to hear this. It will be a dang good laugh.

I'm listening!

First off, you suck cause you couldnt come up with nothin better than that reply so I went and edited my post cause I realized you want to keep it sensible. HAHA! Just jack with ya fella.

Anyhow, the Plott didnt fall off the boat brother. I dont know anything about the history of these dogs, although I have read as much if not more than you about every breed of hound both sight and scent that there is to read, but I have seen enough different kinds of dogs in my life to make pretty good assumptions and my assumption about the modern day plott is that there is probably some bulldog, some terrier, some foxhound, some bloodhound, and even some greyhound in damn near everyone of them somewhere and at sometime. You know about like every other dog gone breed of hound out there right now.

This little segment is written about some brindle dogs with vicious dispositions that were around in the early 1800's. They were foxhounds. There are still brindle July dogs to this day but you just dont see them that often.

Just what I thought, pure speculation!

Dude I love your comment, I will store this in the top ten dumb things people say on the Net.

The part in red is classic. LOL

I dont know anything about the history of these dogs, although I have read as much if not more than you about every breed of hound both sight and scent that there is to read,

When you find some facts and want to continue the conversation on Plotts, type away!

Well, Well, Well, it is good to have you back Strike Em' Hot. I often wondered if you would make it back to the site after you got caught stealing pics from other Web sites and claiming you caught the game.

Your the man!
