Bear in Montana with hounds????

I got to thinking about Bear hunting in Montana with hounds now that bear season opened in Montana.

Beezo the biologist makes a good point about gearing up for the fight for lions, I know that the big study done in the Garnets was supposed to be helpful for houndsmen but the biologist that did that study has retired so I don't know waht's all happening with that the last I've checked with the Fish and Game there was not a report available to the public on the study.

I think as houndsmen if we started to take the fight in the other direction and take a more offensive approach would be wise for the future of hound hunting.
