well Jake i use a shovel. Its usually flat on the end.

shovel every day and pressure wash every three days and wash with concentrated lysol once a week put few drops of bleach in water bowls and rinse them out. all are on cement

Without ever meeting or knowing of him, I can tell you that Bow takes good care of his dogs. By doing as he describes above, your dogs will be less likely to have some of the health problems associated with kennels and tieouts.

thank you boarderpond my dogs are my life. i do tie them out in the winter because it is to hard to keep the kennels clean with every thing freezing

just make sure that you dilute the bleach. it will burn there feet. one gallon of bleach will treat 1000 gallons of water just to give you a idea how far it will go. my kennels are in a big fenced in area i let them all out will i am spraying them down.

i keep my dogs on gravel concrete is nice but i no guys tht has there dogs on crete and ol author comes to visit them way to early grvel is a whole lot cheaper and all you need is a rake and a shovel

even with the gravel you still should be disinfecting it with bleach o Lysol. it well help with parasites and smell.my fenced in area is all dirt and 1.5 stone with a small watering pond.every other week ill spray bleach over the hole area and then rinse it all down

o i spray it down with bleach atleast once a week. this keeps the worms away

Pooper scooper/shovel twice a day. Pressure wash twice a month & bleach rinse rinse twice a week. Give them a bath once a month when their not runnin/huntn.

I have my dogs on 15' chains that are staked in the ground and don't have any poop to clean, the chain doz it for me, the bleached water bowls how ever i do that every other day and clean water every day...
