The Humane Society has found a sponsor for there bill to ban Bear hunting with hounds and trapping of bear as well. This is the second time in the last ten years they have brought this up in our capitol. Just thought I would spread the word.

Any idea who they found to sponsor the bill?

The liberial Society and Obama's buddies in Washington are trying to destroy anything old fashion. We elected a man who supports everything that is going bad in this country. These people have millions of dollars and until we get this fixed this is going to be a trend.

THE SPONSOR OF THE BILL "WITHDREW" THE BILL FROM THE LEGISLATIVE PROCESS. JUST HAVE TO WAIT AND SEE WHAT THE HSUS COMES UP WITH NEXT.

Update on this little battle that we had up here with the ANTI'S. They was able to get another sponsor built a task force brought it up for vote in the Augusta to be met with a room full of trappers and that where UNITED and ready to do battle after a very short session it was unanimously voted down. We now have a bill that is going to be on our November ballot to preserve our heritage and traditional hunting methods. This is twice we have fought the battle with them goes to show we can not sit around and let them bring the battle to us but us to them. As a United force we much stronger.

You ALWAYS need to keep on the deffensive. Look what happened to Ontario in 99' and Maine in 82' with our spring bear hunts. The Ontario humane society funded the Shad foundation between 96' & 98'. Also look at who else funds the humane society. Toyota was a supporter, during that time period, of the Ontario humane society along with our ducks unlimited!! Companies sometimes don't know their donations are even going to these anti hunting idiots.

Maine, along with Ontario are considered easy targets because we both fell to the anti's once before. They succeeded in the closing of our spring hunts!! A few years back ANTI'S had ads on the radio here in Dryden Ontario and else where, discrediting bear baiting. We were on the radio instantly with rebuttals. Our radio station said they would not take an ad like theirs again. We lost once but NEVER again. Good luck!!
