Tow behind sled or...?
Tow behind sled or...?
Looking for opinions on whether a tow behind snow trailer behind a snowmobiles is better or a dog box mounted to the back of the tunnel on the snowmobile behind the seat. I currently have a tow behind sled. Thinking that the box mounted to the back might be easier to maneuver but worried that with 3 45 lb dogs in it it may be too heavy. Thanks for any input.

Of course the box mounted on the tunnel is easier to maneuver the snowmobile..most snowmobile tunnels are rated for 0 lbs. some utility types have a rating of 100 lbs er so. Don’t be afraid to drill holes in the side of tunnel and reinforce with extra support.

Borrowed a sled from a buddy one time to hunt and threw the kennel up on the tunnel. It was great! I went anywhere. I felt bad for the dogs at times because of all the jarring around though. After it all, I owed my buddy a new tunnel.
So I went back to pulling them .
