Hey i have a plott female the man we got her from said she had pappers and he would send um to us that was about 5 years ago i still aint seen um . I want to sale this female now she runs coons with another dog. I have run bear with her two i have had one killed two her to and she has run alot more and done a pretty decent job i wouldn't call her a real bear dog but she is good for me on bear. there is one thang she is real gritty on and thats a hog she will strike out of the box run her own track and even bay one her selve she is a great little hog dog a fine one and dont care to get the job done either and aint afraid to grab one. HOW MUCH U THINK I COULD SELL HER FOR.

Down here what makes a good hog dog is the dog will find and stop almost any pig. if they are too gritty the hog just says forget it and runs. if they are too loose the hog will defiantly walk on the dog. Its a fine line. these are what I would pay and have seems to be the going rate of around here. again not fact just my opinion. only you can take an honest look and see where she would fit in

started knows what a pig is maybe even has found one but isnt reliable. 50-250

a well started dog will find pigs but will trash occasionally and isnt the best but can get it done with help. 250-500

strike dog can and will get it done almost always is honest and can get it done almost every time. He or she just may be missing that one thing making him or her a super number one. sometimes its just age. Would be welcome in any ones yard. 500-1000

What makes a true strike dog is it cant do the other things you said. It cant run a coon, skunk, possum, nothing and doesn't care to. completely reliable and when the dog barks you know its because of a pig. and can do it over and over again all night. 1000-????

Plott man I would go $200 on the dog sounds like the making of a good dog I personally dont care to chase a bear and would have to do alot of training to keep her from trashing its hard to break them once they start but if I go to hunt hogs I want to see a hog when they bay some folks might like to hunt what ever she bays. You get her broke and consistently baying hogs she could got $500-$1000 easy just have to ask is it worth your time to do so . A feller can make his hunting money selling dogs but if you want to get in that game remember you got to have a good product good luck with her wish we were closer I would have a look at her PLott x Catahoulas are bad arse.

i have never had her strike on a coon she wont run a coon unless with another dog but she is a fine and i do mean fine she was doing real good at bear hunting in WV.

Why are you wanting to sell her? Have you decided TN hates hog hunters worse than they hate their hogs?

I dont really want to sell her right now she is great to start pups cause she is not as fast as my other dogs Ellie will pull the guts out of ever dog. So jill is great with starting pups.
