I use Ugly Dog cut collars (Ugly Dog Ranch) for my finders. The collars are built very well with stitching that is top notch.

If I start running my pit as a catch dog I will get him the Guardian Kevlar; expensive but looks to be top notch for protection.

If you have gritty bay dogs, I hear good things about their Viper Bay Vest; light weight but still protective.

i run cut collers on my runnin dogs. and a 45.00 vest on my catch dog , it's got more stitches in it than granny's bloomers but still works well ,as for collars . i sat down one day and made all mine outa sling webb, and nylon colors rivited together. just a thought kevlar will stop a bullet, but you can stick a knife rite through it? ??. when you get you a vest get one with leg gaurds i had to add em to mine , dog was always gettin cut on the leg just where the vest stoped..

For cut collars I use hardcore hog dogs, wilder USA, and southern cross. Personally I like hardcore and wildbore. I like to run cut collars on All my dogs. I think it tells them game on. For my watchdogs I got one hardcore hotdog vest and one p and p. I like em both. I got bay vests for my strike dogs but only use them on the grittir dogs. I got one small black mouth gyp that I can't ever find a vest to fit her rite and she is germ gritty so I just ordered her a 3/4 bay vest from custom collars because of his sizing options.

Razorback Hunting Supply (http://www.razorbackhoghuntingsupply.com/) makes the best vests I have seen. They are light, flexible, and strong.
