I'd like to thank KP again for coordinating the meeting. Despite popular belief, I think the meeting was very successfull. The purpose wasn't to have any game regulations changed overnight, it was to show how many people there are in "opposition". The TWRA stated they expected opposition to these new regulations, and I believe they have alot more realistic idea of the amount of opposition now. Kurt Miles and Daryl Ratajczak thanked me personally after the meeting, and both told me they would help communicate any proposed "compromise" ammendment to the TWRC. I think these two men are real life people, that are willing to listen to reason. The changes that were made were over their authority. Steve Patrick, however, is a different situation. If you don't recognize his name, he is the man who was wearing the suit. He dodged most of my pointed questions, and boasted arrogant sarcasm towards the others. This man is a problem. He is 100 percent in favor of executing these regulations without any compromise. I didn't catch his title, but we really need to work hard on putting him out on the street.

Sounds like you guys in Tennessee are having the same problem we are in Texas with one of our national forests. I hope it works out better for you than it has for us so far. If y'all figure out the magic words let us know, maybe we can do the same.

Did anyone turn in a written proposal?

I was contacted by one of the Commissioners who asked if I planned on turning one in. He insinuated that the Commission recieved nothing in writing from the hunters.

I will get you an application to the Tellico Club.

Here are the links to a couple of the clubs/organizations that are fighting for the hound hunters rights in the state.

It is in the mail. I apologize for the delay. Since I had emailed it to you, your name accidentally got removed from the list. You should have it in a couple of days.
