half bullterrier half pitbull
We just got one. Was wondering if they can be trained to scent trail. I also have greyhound. From yote dogs coming. What I would like to do is run them together. The cross to trail and find and the greyhound to run down yotes. I ask on here cause I am in ND right now but plan on moving within the next two years to a hog plentiful state. Figured yotes would at least give them something to start hunting. I should probably just get a scenthound huh? Any and all responses are appreciated.

bullterrier and or pit x greyhounds are common place and we use them as what you call running catch dogs these dogs will commonly track a boar out to 2 or 3 klms. so we use neck collars and brest plates to add them while catching the hog.

I think that coyotee would be fairly tough for one dog to handle and the bulldog would have to get there pretty quick to help out.
