So I'm at a crossroad gentleman. To start off I'm completely new to hound hunting. I have trained bird dogs in the past but nothing as far as mammal hunting. I'm in socal now(not by choice the marine corps brought me here) I have my old german shorthair (5) who is a decent bird dog, I have my blue nose pit(house pet) whose about to be 2, and my brand spankin new catahoula who is 5 months. I may move back to colorado which is home to ma. ny a mt lion and bear(illegal). Or I may move to north carolina to take this "government contracting" job. So now I need to know what my next move is. Do I give me gsp to my mom and get some more hog dogs and move to nc. Do I keep all of em and hunt hogs? Do I say f it and get rid of all of em and get some hounds to run in co. Not sure really what to do. I really do want to get into this sport but have no idea where I should fit in. Your advice please.
