scattered hogs

I never claimed to be a grain field hunter but this year seems to be strange for patterning hogs in the grain. I have spent 3 of the last 4 nights hunting the grain feilds for farmers before harvest and have not started one hog.

Has anyone else noticed these strange irregularites in the grain field hogs?

They were kinda funny on the corn this year, they started hitting it later than usual for some reason. Picked up as expected later on though.
