Saw the show for the first time today...pretty good! I wasn't expecting much but liked what I saw!! REALLY strange that the producers are the same as those from Wild Justice though.... Anyhow, we need a bear/lion/bobcat/coon huntin with dog show now that shows things in a positive light!

Between jobs, and actually had some time in front of a TV at a hotel last night. I stumbled on this show, and I cant even tell you how much of a delight it was. Any body that has figured out a way to make a living with his dogs is genius in my book. "Darker than the inside of a dead wolves mouth". Man that old guy had me rolling.

When I was a kid, I thought I was pretty tough live catching coons. Ha Ha ha. I never thought of toggles. Man, it is amazing to me no one ever gets ripped open. I think of the times I got bit by the coon, and I am just thinkin I might not have come out so well if it had been a 200 pound boar. Great show.

Why do they take them live? Is it because the meat would quickly spoil in the heat? Or just for the challenge? or?

I think they bring them live to the processer so they don't rot, they donate the meat to the hungry.

It's a pretty good show, but in my opinion it would be a lot better if those two kids could stop quarrelling for more than 3 seconds at a time.

I think most of the arguing and drama is staged for the reality tv junkies

Great show I have seen it a few times and it gives me the erge to try it one day. I am confused on the dogs inability to rig the hos bery well. It seems like the dogs don't rig them until they almost run them over with the truck.

those dogs are there dogs . personally i wouldn't feed any of them . but he did say he lost his good dog [rooster] and these were all young dogs . hog dog as a rule can wind off the rig just like any good hound . don't judge hog dogs by theres :D this is all pretty much for tv . the show is entertainment . and i hope that all land owners don't get the impression that the cambells are the best this industry has to offer ! every hunt iv'e seen on the show was no more than a cluster f@#$%k . but it's better than nothin i guess . and i'd leave them kids at home or keep me a good piece of leather around and use it accordingly . if i was lookin for someone to do hog control on a place and i saw this show they would be the last persons i would call . enough said , good day

We get that Hogs gone wild on the Discovery channel over here honestly It would have to be the most embarrasing Tv program going , Makes a bloke embaressed to call him self a pig hunter. I relise It would be the know nothing director trying to make it exciting for the general public that know nothing about catching pigs but if my crew carried on like those clowns Id sack the lot of them and never take them to the bush again, Fair Dinkum I thought the crockadile hunter was bad.

yeah buddy that show gives my EX -wife a lot of ammo to use against me . she allready thought i was a hick . and the show does embarres me to know end . i think the hidden agenda of this show might be to still portray dog men and hunters as a bunch of illiterate red necks to the rest the world . there doing a good job of it !

hell no more hogs than i seen it would have to be alot . but seriousely we used to be able to make a pretty good part time income from it , till the boom . then everybody and their second cousin sally started runnin ads will trap for free , free hog removal ,and so on and so on . till now you can't even make it feed the dogs . it's hard to try and charge some poor ol farmer when there's so many willin to do it for the fun of it and a place to hunt . but i can see it coming back to the professionals before long. them weekend warriors ain't doing nothing to control the problem . they just lookin for a good time . and steady places to hunt wich meens they ain;t willin to kill them all . and i guess they used to be bass fishemen cause they say we should practice catch and release .

Thats ole gary stamper. He knows how to handle hogs and he's been doing it a long time. He seems to be a natural on the camera. He may still have one of those dogs for sale, I know he sold one of them, the black and white face. I almost bought his older gyp. I believe he's keeping his jj dog. Its about time they put an ole florida redneck hog hunter on the air. I was ready to cut my wrists after watching that great dane hunt and listening to the crap they were saying on the other show. I haven't watched the texas show yet but I like ole gary, I hope he makes some more shows. For his next show I may let him borrow my old dog. The two of them together could really make a show of it.
