I bumped into some New Zealander's about 30 yrs ago, that used to get the hogs to chase them. Then they would jump up a small tree and hang on with one hand and reach down and stick 'em with a Bowie knife with the other. They had the photo's to prove it. These were big burly guys with the scars on their lower legs to prove it. Oh yeh, they could clean house in a bar room brawl like nobody's business as well. Even the bouncers stood back and watched. Some double tough S.O.B.'s.

what was neat was he stuck it with out bait under the tree i think its bs that that hog killed 10 dogs he sayed that a few times there is no way that hog could kill my catch dogs and not get stuck by me i usually run one when in in south the baydogs jumpin my two dogs are to hard to get off a hog they do wear the best vest and im there in a few seconds how is this hog killen dogs and gettin away with it dont think mannys the clown sure would like to have a beer with the fellow who lost 10 dogs mannys got his place on tv he does do some stuff thatmost men dont have balls or the know how to pull it off does look like the camera guy spooked the hog to manny you think that it was a preserve or around the like in florida them new zelanders sound like the boys from southafrica and austruila i seen a few swim and pet great whites like they were puppys i pet a few sharks just dont think i would be first to swim over and say no shes ok very docile and tickle her belly no im not in haawaii newyork sipear fish down in north carolina 20 to 40 miles out

no have not seen the one from the big island done a little of my self 6min breathhold and freedive to 130 ft with almost no training i lift weights a bit pump out a 1000 pushups in a hour but work and ny keep me out of the waterand training like i should are you a freediver were are you lion huntin and hog huntin

been thinking of going out to hawaii 2 weeks freediveing and hog hunting would be heaven it would be even better if i could bring my catch dogs some day are you dry ground hunting the hawaaiin spear fishing teams comes up to rhode island every few years i think they win the competition when they come to the nationals they come out and scout for weeks on scuba they get a lot of support them guys are good did you hog hunt out there or your brother

I did not have time to hog hunt while I was there, but my brother did a ton of it. The locals can sure smoke up some mean pig! I ate 5# at my first sitting, 'er party! They have been catching and spearing pigs since the beginning of time. If not for the pig hunters there would be no agriculture on the Islands, the pigs are that thick.

I lived all over French Polynesia (Tahitian Islands) and I spent 6 months on the Marquesas (Hiva Oa to be exact) and I am telling you, those men on that island are BAD ASS boar hunters. Not one of them own a gun. not one. And, they kill every boar with a knife and let me tell you, I've hunted in the US and down there and the boars are worse down there. Big, nasty and mean. I'll have to dig up some pics. And, their dogs are total mutts that are some boar catching SOB's!!!!! Plus, those hunters down there have endurance like I've never seeen. Steep mountains, super humid and they run all day after the dogs...at a run! I had to wear soccer cleats to keep up the Mtns were so freakin steep!

They all have scars all over their calves from boars!
