There was a tie in the MOST HOGS division of 11 hogs each. The rules state that a tie breaker is based on which team had the HEAVIEST hog in their stringer. In this case it was


In addition to the stated payout, TDHA also entered each and every team that weighed in hogs (regardless of weight or placing) into a drawing for a Tri Tronics TrashBreaker or a Wildlife Materials Tracking Collar

I had a ball hunting near the Navasota River in East Texas for the contest and had a fun weekend catching 7 hogs on Sat. but nothing big enough to put us in the winners bracket.

On Sun I spent the rest of the afternoon in the skinning and quartering crew. ALL 156 hogs were de-boned and donated to a private organization with nothing wasted!!!!

I have not heard the final count on the pounds of de-boned meat but I know we filled to good sized refer trucks!
