Looking again at some jagdterriers, what are the best kennels, bloodlines and breeders out there. Has anyone tried crossing them over other dogs. I've seen some jagdt/birddog and jagdt/leopard crosses, how have these turned out. Thinking about getting one to cross over my walkers and florida curs. I have some on my forum at strikedogs.com and I might trade a young dog for a young jagdterrier.

I say if u going for hogs and dont want ur dog dead then look at knite hunt kennels, they breed those who are smart and not crazy enough to go head on with things that is able to kill them with one blow. There dogs are really smart at finding live game and dead game, their dogs know when they have a chance they take it. If u going for small game such as raccoon then they are perfect. They will tear that shit up right in front of u dead or alive they will go head on. For me i think jagdterriers are already good enough not mixing with other dogs, i have seen and known those who crosses jagds and the turn outs were horrible, they were not able to perform as good as jagds or those who they breed with. But its just my thoughts, do wat u want, but yea I really recommend with Knite hunt kennels if u go for big game

fellas out here have tried xing JRT with greyhounds to try and get all that hunt into bigger dogs all they have ended up with are crazy dog killers. Now a JRT is only 1/4 as mad as a JRT so good luck if you try turning them into bigger dogs.
