hogs need 3 things shade , water and food if they find that those things are in a place where they are not disturbed all the better. ive hunted them in the moutains ,the swamps and the open plans, from snow country to the tropics. apart from humans they would be the most adaptable creature going. they are omnivors so anything is on the menu.

Food n water but if you hunt them much it seems they do best where there's either grain or tree mast along with good root crops " natural" in Europe it seemed they did best a little farther north and in forest areas next to crop lands that had broken terrain I'm sure they weren't really as big as they looked but they sure all seemed healthy I think they could live here in az given the mesquite crop and oak mast I don't know if they'd travel up into bear heights with out some pressure but if they did could probably do well enough it'd be interesting to see but water would be a huge problem I know I wouldn't want them tearing upmy dirt tanks .
