Is there any public land were a person could do some free range wild hog hunting in Oklahoma or Arkansas?

Try looking up your state's Parks and Wildlife online and look for the public hunting.

In Texas we only have 1-2 National forest lands that can be hunting with dogs

I live in WI. We have public land to hunt for bear. I was just looking to see if there was someplace I could hunt hogs within one days drive. I have a friend down in Texas but the drive is grueling and it takes up four days of your vacation.

I found public land in OK and ARK on the internet but it is not clear if your chances of finding hogs would be very good.

A man is not very smart that can,t find his wife 2 jobs.
And any wife should be able to support her man and a pack of hounds.

Never shock your dog off bad game
untill he knows what good game is.

Some of the public land u can hunt hogs on & some u can,t.
U can,t use a 4 wheeler on any, but can ride horses on some. can,t use dogs on some, but can on others.
The best advice is to check with the local game warden.
I think u should wait till the deer season is over to even think about it., they have controle.

When I lived in East Texas, I hunted without dogs and killed quite a few, some still in their beds. most farmers and ranchers welcome hog hunters if you ask first.
