We roaded Ginger cur and Twinkle Jagd for a few min and they left out tracking. We watched on the GPS as they went into the heart of the thick brush. Around 700-800yards on the GPs they went from zig-zag tracking to a line-out race straight away from us.
We drove the truck around to the other side 1mile and they had already crossed the high fence into the neighbors. We got permission in there so no big deal.
we never heard them bark but from the fence they were 750yards on the GPS and stopped showing "bayed". We walked the catch dogs and as we got closer the more open it got.
We could see the dogs working from about 250yards!!! We stopped at 150yards and could see this monster looking at us also. From our location we noticed a 30lb shoat that the dogs had already killed flopping next to us and got a few min. of video of the bay.
DC released Spanky; who went off like a rocket to SAVE THE DAY!!
The hog met Spanky HEAD ON and tossed him(on Video). Twinkle and Ginger had him stopped again in less than 5 yards and Spanky came from behind to lock on. He put up a good fight but DC got him legged. (I was really scared so I pretended to fumble with my camera and let DC get ahead of me
Spanky did a good job controling him as the ONLY catchdog. Big hogs are so much more fun with less dogs on the ground....LOL
His thick cutters are broke even around 1.5in but the wetters are huge and hook around on the top.
Look at the lack of brush in these pics:
