12 for the weekend

We had a blizzard blow in on friday, as luck would have it I have a little guiding to do 5hrs south in Coleman. I got to take the sons of a ranch owner on a dog hunt for the weekend. Two of them had been with me before and two were first timers. We made one drop on fri night and caught two small hogs. Saturday morning we caught a good little boar and a sow. Saturday after lunch we caught 7 and saturday night we caught a good little boar. I took 6 bay dogs and 1 catch dog and after 12 hogs they were all smoked. The hunters had a great time and the only dog to get cut was AJ. Adora caught 10 of the 12 and did a great job.

Those oak brush thickets with the vines are no fun. We had 3 bays break as Adora was crashing the brush trying to get to the bay. It was a great weekend and I got to miss all the snow.
