About 8 years ago there was a hog bay event in Chowchilla Ca. Is there ever going to be another? I know the Live Wire Catahoula folks put it on and it was a decent showing. Anybody know of any others in the future? Mabye a NALC bay?

Yes they still have it. But they had problems with animal rights people from what I heard. So they post it to the regulars whom attend. The last I heard it was in modesto last year. I did not attend because I had other plans.

I for one would love to go. I'd appreciate it if you could PM me any information that you have concerning any upcoming events.
Or get me to those in charge so that I could talk to them. Then I'd become a regular attendee!!

So hogwild1. Who do I contact? Sorry bout the catahoulas. I got my own stock. Camp-a-while stock X with kemmer cur.The catahoula won the Chowchilla open bay amateur and pro events 7 years ago. He also won the NALC A bay in jackson Ca the year before. The female is Kemmer stock. Natural bob tail. Her and her littermates made some locally famous dogs and the two put together have made some hard bayen, slightly catchy hog dogs. Im gonna be breedin soon too.

He is long gone. He got killed on a hog few years back. He was origionally owned by Orbie Beardon. He went back east every year to all the hog bays and would come home with a dozen dogs to train and sell. The dog was papered from camp-a-while and my best friend got him from orbie as a pup. To tell the truth my best friend got himself on the methamphedamine and lost his mind completely. All his papers for the dog are gone as are the rest of his belongings, wife and kids. So all is lost on the dog. Ive tryed to look up the results for the nalc bay he won and the results for the chowchilla bay comp but I cant find anything. Livewire catahoulas used to post all of their results on their website but that guy went to jail so his website is gone. So I guess I got nothing except that bloodline without any real proof.

Let me kno if they have another. I have a Blue Lacy that I hunt on coon and will be attempting to run on bear this year. I would luv to get her on a hog.
