2013 summed up

Postby jcathunter » Fri Jan 10, 2014 10:51 pm

Started out with a buddy of mine coming from New Zealand to look for bear. We hunted 3 days and he filled both of his bear tags.

Then, I got my archery roosie
and called in a roosie for another buddy from the blacktail outdoors staff
Then, I got a whitetail and my daughter shot a whitetail/mulie hybrid
Cougar and bobcat. My first time using a bow for both
Ended the year taking a buddy after whitetail on the late hunt. Spent one of his three days filming a bobcat hunt and he had a sight malfunction costing him a couple bucks. He took this doe in the last 20 minutes to fill the freezer and test the Anarchy broadheads we set out to test on this hunt. (they performed flawlessly)

Thanks guys. The rain on top of snow is making it tough for the dogs but I'm hoping to head to Tx for some pig hunting in a month or two.

Nice pictures Jason, enjoy your hunting while young. Mind if I ask what bloodline of English you are now hunting? Al

Tylers Dad, it looks like the rain might have knocked that snow back a bit so this upcoming week could be pretty good. My red dog does a fair job rigging them so, if conditions are ok, we will hunt.
Al, my english came from Brady Biddix up in Wa. I'd have to look at her papers to check bloodline but, maybe he will post up some details. I REALLY like her. She's not perfect but she is closer to what I've been looking for than anythign I"ve seen in awhile.
