Yes Mt. Dog the rutt is the best, you can get it to work some what before but they are usually longer shots.

It will be awhile before the rut starts here. Montana has an early archery with a special tag that starts Aug. 15. The general archery starts this weekend. I've been sneaking in to 1or 200yards and setting up the decoy but not much response yet. I'll try more when they start chasing does. Anybody want to give up any pointers on how to make this work better? Thanks
