On the first morning of this years colorado muzzle loader hunt, I excitedly got up and headed out to a spot I had been watching some monster bucks. When I started to get close all I could see was tail lights. Big suprise, since I hadn't saw a person there all summer. Of course I got frustrated and went home. I didn't go back for the next couple of days. When I did decide to go back it was exactly the same thing, I decide to keep hunting. I got to my spot and parked the truck. After an hour hike into a spring, I didn't see anything. I decided to sit there and wait. Well after about an hour their he was. I ended up taking him at thirty yards. He green scored over 200.

Yeah, I doubt I get one any bigger than him.

But last night we were out scouting for our utah bull hunt, and on the state line we saw one that made my buck look small.
